a process book documenting my research on memory interference

Your memory is an overconfident liar. With every recollection, memory is reshaped. Memory interference warps our perception of the past, often without us realizing it. I explore through reconstructive memory. With every act of remembering, we rewrite the narrative. To investigate, I developed a system of deconstruction with a singular goal: to identify the interferences that alter memories. The culmination of this work is a digital simulacrum - a sonic representation of what a deconstructed memory might sound like. It is a study of memory construction and the gap between perception and reality, inviting us to confront the fragility and fluidity of memory itself.

How can we deconstruct our memories to better understand how they shape, and are shaped by, our present perceptions?
