In 2024, I led the design and UX team responsible for shaping the event’s visual identity, wayfinding system, and digital-to-physical experience. Working under the guidance of Peter Martin at VCUQatar and in collaboration with Qatar Foundation, our team translated a broad conceptual brief into a cohesive, accessible, and scalable design system.
Through intentional typography, spatial graphics, and user-centered navigation, the event experience was optimized for clarity, engagement, and flow. The success of BADIR 2024 contributed to its establishment as an ongoing annual initiative within Education City.
Development
I visited the venue in person to get a better idea of the lighting and structure of the space, then we were able to design based on what existed.
